SHIELA and I  at MILE 0  VICTORIA 

 I was having problems with my computer  finally back on line

I would like to THANK  EVERYONE THAT HELPED US GET HERE

BAMBERTON PROVINCIAL PARK
     SHIELA and I could not stay my papers from the MINISTRY expired at thee
end of DEC and I could not afford to pay for camping 
I asked the park operator if I could get water I was told I would have to walk back to MILL BAY about 4 km back down the highway t o MILL BAY

The park buildings have water  I guess I could not pay for camping so I could not have water

Shiela and I had a pleasant stay at DUNCAN

SHIELA and I planned to stay at the PROVINCIAL PARK  the park was closed so we camped in the bush on a vacant lot  no problems

SHIELA and I had a pleasant stay at the PROVINCIAL CAMPGROUND

THE only problem was the crushed rock on the pads for setting my tent  the bottom of my waterproof tent is no longer waterproof
I suppose the people that built the pads never camped in a tent
I had the same problem with most the campgrounds I stayed at also it is  impossible to put in tent pegs

QUALLICUM BEACH

SHIELA and I  camped at THE FIRST NATIONS CAMPGROUND  the campground was closed so people let their dogs run loose

 SOMEONE let their dog leave a gift about ten feet from the door of my tent

I  will not be thanking anyone for this

        SHIELA and I are back I tried to use McDONALDS wifi  and my computer got more  messed up than I did  I finally have things working again

  When I posted my last note  I made a mistake
   I was diagnosed with arthritis and I was prescribed morphine every six hours

      I  WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE PEOPLE AT UNION BAY FOR THE FOOD AND THE EXTRA SOCKS

     THANK YOU ALSO FOR THE TURKEY DINNER ON CHRISTMAS DAY

  ALSO FOR THE MONEY THAT WAS LEFT IN MY TENT

MERRY CHRISTMAS and A HAPPY NEW YEAR to EVERYONE  from SHIELA and

I have something to tell everyone who may be interested

When I  started walking SHIELA I had been taking morphine every six hours
I was also diagnosed  with COPD I was using a powder inhaler and a puffer daily
I was also diagnosed with prostate cancer

After I  walked for a month I no longer needed the pain meds or the inhalers

When I was camped between SECHELT and POWELL RIVER  I was lying in my tent cold and wet
my shoulders and hips were causing ME major pain

While I was praying a warm feeling spread through my body and the pain left my body and still has not returned

I THANK THE LORD for watching over me and my dog every day

I pray that THE LORD will  BLESS EVERY ONE for the help they have given SHIELA and ME

MANY THANKS to all the people who helped  SHIELA  and myself as we travelled on our journey  

I would like to wish every one a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a  HAPPY NEW YEAR  from SHIELA and ME.
