our journey through Quebec was pleasant and quiet we traveled the secondary hwys so we did not pass through the cities we did pass through many small villages the people we met were friendly and polite even though I do not speak French

SHIELA and I stayed  outside QUEBEC CITY  OCT 8 we camped on a vacant lot the night before I decided not to go into the CITY  I would have lost 2or 3 days in the CITY and I did not think I would be able to find a place to stay

We are at a campgrounds  Le refuge du campeur the owner let us stay in a recreation hall so we did not have to set up our tent

we camped at a place called Yamaska  rained all day so we stayed in the tent and slept most of the day Shiela  had helped pull the bike for about 20km so she needed a rest

I missed a turn in the HWY ended up on the ferry so we went for a ride  ended up at a place called Sorel Tracy we are now traveling on HWY 132 east

ST JEROME
did not see a sign welcome to ST JEROME  SHIELA was felling a little disappointed because she did not meet new friends I tried to explain it was because sh was not barking in French  later at the grocery store she met new friends and we were loaded with dog treats and groceries  Thank You Kindly to all for donations

SHIELA and I camped at La chute there was no campgrounds so we camped at a picnic site we had a good rest and a pleasant stay

SHIELA and I got in to HAWKSEBURY  late at night no campgrounds to late to look for a place to camp so we slept in a park downtown I could not set my tent so I slept on a picnic table

we were going to stay at a campgrounds at a place 10 km  back but the fee for camping at LOrignal  community campground was $45  a night I would not have been able to sleep if had payed that much to set my tent for 1 night
I  would walk through HELL on SUNDAY before I would stay in this  GREEDY  community

SHIELA and I spent the night at ROCKLAND we had a good rest and a great day thanks to NATHALIE who drove from OTTAWA to see SHIELA and me felt like a CHRISTMAS day
